I've Had Enough!
I've had enough ~
Of Trump; Trump supporters; MAGA mentality, QAnon and other aberrant groups; the vast majority of Republican party leadership; the Big Lie and all the other deceptions that are permeating, festering, and decaying American minds; the irresponsible and falsity of reporting by FOX News and other media sources; narcissistic, egotistic, lack of character, lack of integrity, lack of ethical standards, lack of morality, Christian nationalist and white supremacist attitudes and behaviors pervasive in America today not only in politics but prevalent in the church as well; the overwhelming misinformation, misunderstanding, and lack of clear thinking promulgated throughout America; the use of Social Media to perpetuate the lies and deceptions destroying America and tearing her apart; superficial Christians and professing Christians who have never read the Bible, nor know or understand what it says and means, yet spout its content as if they did; those who identify themselves as "Christian" while having no idea what it means to be a Christ-follower; and Christians who persistently believe and strive for the government and laws to combat the moral issues of society - this has never worked in the history of humanity nor will it ever - laws won't fix the moral dilemmas of our fallen world. I've had enough.
Research has clearly and unfortunately shown that no matter how preposterous the lie is, if it is repeated often enough, gullible people will believe that it is true. Evolution and the Big Lie are clear examples of how easily people are deceived. Tragic. We have lost our minds and lost our way. We have become blind, deaf, dumb, and dead; or in the words of Jesus - "wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked."
In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit. Judges 21:25 NIV
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. Isaiah 5:20-21 NIV
He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight. Luke 16:15 NIV
This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: “‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’ Matthew 13:13-15 NIV
“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation. I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Revelation 3:14-22 NIV
Truth Is the Cure!
I pray that your eyes would clearly see, your ears would soundly receive, your mind would be opened and illuminated, and your essence restored to life in Christ Jesus.
For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Hebrews 4:12-13 NIV
When you stand before Jesus will you hear "Well done, good and faithful servant," or will you hear "You wicked, lazy servant"? Are you living in His truth or living in the world's lies and deceptions?
