Living By Faith, Not By Sight

Living by faith, not by sight

"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life."

1 Timothy 6:11-12, 17-19

Have You Seen and Heard the Words?

Are Your Spiritual Eyes and Ears Open and Receiving?

Do You Know What It Means?

It's the Writing on the Wall

(Daniel 5:20-28, 30 NIV)

But when his [Nebucadnezzar] heart became arrogant and hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and stripped of his glory. He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.

“But you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humbled yourself, though you knew all this. Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. Therefore he sent the hand that wrote the inscription.

“This is the inscription that was written:

MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN

“Here is what these words mean:

Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.

Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.

Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.”

That very night Belshazzar, king of the Babylonians, was slain,

The Writing Is on the Wall.

If you're still believing and living in all the lies, deceptions, and misinformation in America today, you will perish by the same. Is it not time to open your spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear? Is it not time to perceive and acknowledge and understand?

There are many spiritual truths, but the most basic is this:

Good fruit is never produced by bad trees. And the poison of bad trees and bad fruit will permeate and paralyze every part of your essence. A good tree is upright in character, exemplary in integrity and honor, unshakeable in ethics and morality, and is the only tree worthy to partake of its fruit. (Matthew 3:10, 7:16-20; Luke 3:9, 6:43-44)

By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. (Matthew 7:16-20 NIV)

It's time for all America to open its spiritual eyes and ears or we will forever be divided and perish.
