My Story
I am a native Nebraskan, and a graduate of the University of Houston, College of Optometry and have been practicing optometry in the north-central Texas area for over thirty years. I am an avid student of the Bible and former Bible study teacher for fourteen years and prior board member and overseer in my church in Frisco, Texas. My son, Galen, going strong fifteen years with a liver transplant, has been an inspiration in my life. My ultimate passion is to write and bring God’s message of salvation, hope, and healing through Jesus Christ to all those whom God would bring.
My Mission
My purpose and mission is to bring the light and love of Jesus Christ to the people of this troubled world to heal their hearts, minds, souls , and spirits. My passion is to cultivate a desire within my audience to consistently pray and read God's Word, and to be transformed by it, to become the person of wholeness and wellness that God intended you to be.

COVID-19 and the disturbing events since 2020 and beyond have been distressing, depressing, and challenging for all of us in a multiplicity of ways - and my life has been no exception. Ordinary life seems to have been put on hold and also forever changed. Yet we are called to persevere and continue on to the fleeting and ever-elusive victory through Christ. May Psalm 23 and Psalm 91 be your provider, protector, and guide. My prayers are with you and for me too.
